We did a show, and no one came.

After months of work, we’re beyond excited to finally announce that EPHEMERAL PART II opens this week, but perhaps not in the way you’d expect.

This past 18 months have created unique parallels between the isolation we as artists naturally tend to experience – hiding away in our studio to create new work – and an unexpected isolation experienced worldwide.

It’s meant frustrations, challenges, but also opportunities: we wanted to run a show that everyone can experience even if no one can attend in person. So we did a show, and no one came, and now we want you to see it.

An abandoned exhibition felt very right for this year, for obvious enough reasons, and the space you’ll be stepping into, through this video and forthcoming VR, is an important part of that. A snapshot frozen in time of a world left to fend for itself, with nature reclaiming that ground both on the canvases and… well, we’ll let you see for yourselves.

It’s felt right to balance what has been a long, tough time of restrictions, disappointments and boundaries with a technological effort to make this the most accessible show we’ve ever pulled off. We’d say that we can’t wait to see you there, but of course this time around, we won’t. We’d love to hear about your experience in exploring EPHEMERAL PART II, though – drop us a line
