FLOURISH: Originals on Paper

FLOURISH began at over twelve metres tall on a wall in Grenoble, France. Now, for our first release of 2026, we've brought the work back into the studio and reworked it as a small collection of original works on paper.
Moving a piece from mural scale to paper isn't simply about making it smaller. We wanted to keep the depth and detail of the original while allowing the studio version to become something of its own. The stencil alone took five weeks to cut entirely by hand, carrying the same process we use on our large scale works into a much more intimate format.
Each piece is individually painted by hand in our studio, so although they share the same stencil, no two are completely identical. Small shifts in paint, texture and surface become part of each work.
The release consists of two variations. A full colour edition of 12 introduces a new palette to the original FLOURISH composition, while a gold leaf edition of just 5 takes the work in a different direction, bringing the portrait and intricate stencil detail against the warmth and changing surface of gold.
Each original measures 102 × 55cm.
The original mural explored resilience, renewal and the idea of growth emerging from unlikely places. Those ideas remain at the centre of these works, but bringing FLOURISH back into the studio has allowed us to look at the image differently. Up close, the hand cut marks, layers and imperfections become much more visible, revealing just how much physical process sits behind the finished image.
